If you never thought that a steam iron – yes, you read that right – a standout feat of the iconic. could deliver Ghost hunters Theme song, you are going to have a ton of fun this Halloween.

A googly-eyed steam iron – along with a number of googly-eyed bandmates, including electric toothbrushes, credit card readers, typewriters, a body trimmer, an epilator, and a nail polisher – played its lifeless little heart from “Ghostbusters” on Saturday during a playback by YouTuber Equipment orchestra.

The cover was a delightful reminder that there are still good and wonderful things in the world, despite them current stream of apparently never ending Disasters. One of the electric toothbrushes even disguised itself as a ghost for Halloween. Plus, I never thought I’d say that there are inanimate electronic devices cute, but googly eyes and pipe cleaner arms make every heart beat faster.

The cover comes from Device Orchestra, whose name is pretty self-explanatory: He creates cover versions of well-known songs with the sounds of electronic devices. While we only hear the song and see the video, there is a lot of electronics at work “under the hood,” as he puts it, like microcontrollers, circuit boards, wires and power supplies.

In September Device Orchestra gave us a cover of “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” complete with homemade club lights – a light in a shot glass under a bowl – and an electric toothbrush with googly blue eyes. Other notable covers include War of stars’ “Imperial March” with toasters (which unfortunately resulted in Device Orchestra being able to make toasters without working toasters and no toast) and the Pokémon Theme song with electric toothbrushes.

According to his Patreon‘Device Orchestra would love to do live shows one day, but he needs more money before he gets to that point. Until then, you can help him buy the things he needs for his videos, like electronics and googly eyes, and help him pay his utility bills. That is a lot of things plugged in at the same time.
