EVgo and Meijer operate first of 5 new public fast charging stations in the Midwest

The station launch marks the continued expansion of EVgo’s charging infrastructure with host partners for retail locations

Los Angeles, February 1, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–EVgo Inc. (NASDAQ: EVGO), the nation’s largest public fast-charging network for electric vehicles (EVs) and the only public network powered by 100% renewable electricity, and Meijer, a mid-market retailer West, today announced the opening of the first public EVgo fast charging station in Meijer stores. Part of the previously announced partnership between EVgo and the retailer, EVgo’s latest stations with Meijer are capable of fast charging at 100kW to 350kW. The initial locations of EVgo and Meijer as part of the partnership are in key Midwestern cities in Michigan and Ohio. The stations complement the 800+ fast charging stations in EVgo’s network and build on the growing base of over 310,000 customer accounts – reflecting the company’s continued leadership in building charging infrastructure and its mutually rewarding collaboration with retail location host partners.
