HOP Electric Mobility Launches Hop LEO, HOP LYF E-Scooter, Auto News, ET Auto

HOP LEO and HOP LYF premium features include parking assist, reverse gear up to 5 km/h, side stand sensor, three riding modes with reserve mode, LED console, dual disc brakes, USB charging, wireless key, anti-theft alarm and anti-theft wheel lock. HOP Electric Mobility also allows its customers to add additional accessories such as Internet and GPS connectivity.

New Delhi: HOP Electric Mobility, an automotive solution offering startups, has two new e-scooter models HOP LEO priced from Rs. 72,500 and HOP LYF priced from Rs. 65,500.

HOP LEO is offered in three variants: LEO Basic, LEO and LEO Extended. The product can reach a top speed of up to 60 km/h. With a double 2X Li-ion battery, the scooter can reach up to 125km range on a single charge. LEO Extended’s electric motor can produce up to 2700W of mechanical power in one go, the company said in a media release.

HOP LYF consists of LYF Basic, LYF and LYF Extended. Like HOP LEO, the LYF model offers 125 km of range per charge with a dual 2X Li-ion battery. The e-scooter has a top speed of up to 50 km/h. LYF Extended’s electric motor can generate mechanical power up to 2000W.

Other premium features of HOP LEO and HOP LYF are parking assistant, reverse gear up to 5 km/h, side stand sensor, three driving modes with reserve mode, LED console, double disc brakes, USB charging, wireless key, anti-theft alarm and anti-theft wheel lock. HOP Electric Mobility also allows its customers to add additional accessories such as Internet and GPS connectivity.

The company also plans to build charging stations from Jaipur and expand to other cities and states. Customers can replace their discharged batteries with a fully charged battery in just 30 seconds. The HOP electric vehicles travel 70 km on a single charge at an economic cost of less than 20 Paise per km.

According to the company, the HOP electric vehicle solutions are based on extensive research and development and offer distinctive key features, including a range of up to 125 km, a 72V architecture, a high-performance motor to climb any slope with a load capacity of 180 kg for HOP LEO and LYF , 19.5 liters of luggage space, connection functions (internet, GPS, mobile app) and much more.

HOP Electric Mobility is also planning to launch an e-bike, HOP OXO 100, which is said to offer a range of 100km on a single charge. The e-bike is said to reach a top speed of 100 km/h with a motor power of 7200 W.
