SAN JOSE, Calif., March 11, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Meriwest Credit Union was selected as one of 50 credit unions to be a recipient of a $12,500 donation by its partner Elan, a leading provider of credit unions to be determined by the Across the Country Charitable (ATC) fundraising program. These donations are intended to be used for local charities to support families in their communities. In partnership with the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues (CCUL), Meriwest has chosen to give its donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® to support local hospitals to further their mission of providing the best possible care to children in need .
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® is a community-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across North America. In return, CMNH uses the money where it is most needed: in areas such as research, care, innovative programs and resources. All funds raised stay in the community to ensure every dollar raised helps local children. Meriwest is proud to accept this generous donation from Elan to help children in the Bay Area get the care they need.
