Mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics are available across the island on Oahu this weekend
Numerous mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be available on Father’s Day weekend, including four with support from the Honolulu Fire Department.
On Saturday, HFD teams will provide logistical support for community health partners at four pop-up vaccine clinics from Kakaako to Kaiaka Bay Beach Park in Haleiwa.
These clinics are open to anyone aged 12 and over, as well as those returning for their second dose.
Both the two-dose Pfizer for people 12 years and older and Johnson & Johnson one-time vaccines for people 18 years and older will be available at clinics held at the following times and locations:
>> 9 am-4pm, Windward Mall, 46-056 Kamehameha Highway, on the upper floor of the former Sears Space. Managed by Adventist Health Castle.
>> 9 am-3pm, Waipio Shopping Center, 94-1040 Waipio Uka Street. Managed by Foodland Pharmacy.
>> 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., SALT in Our Kakaako, 691 Auahi St. Managed by Queen’s Health Systems.
>> 9 am-3pm, Kaiaka Bay Beach Park, 66-449 Haleiwa Road. Managed by Queen’s Health Systems.
Other vaccination clinics on Saturday.
>> 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ka Makana Ali’i in Kapolei. Ka Makana Ali’i is home to a Hawaii Pacific Health mobile vaccine clinic. The mobile vaccination bus is parked in front of the Straub Kapolei Clinic & Urgent Care in The Grove. The Pfizer vaccine will be available to people 12 years and older. First doses only. Walk-ups are welcome, but reservations are welcome on-line.
>> 9 am-5pm Kapolei Consolidated Theaters, 890 Kamokila Boulevard. This will be the last day of operation for Kaiser Permanente at the Kapolei Consolidated Theaters location. Walk-ins are welcome.
After serving nearly 40,000 doses at the site, Kaiser says the Kapolei Consolidated Theaters mass vaccination clinic will close on Saturday after its last day there.
“After facing this deadly pandemic for over a year, the vaccination effort has been a rewarding and uplifting experience,” Corrina Ibanez, director of Kaiser Permanente Hawaii clinic, said in a press release. “This location will be open for a few more weeks, so we encourage everyone in the area to get vaccinated. Do it to protect your loved ones and your community. “
Patients receiving their first vaccination at the Kapolei site will be scheduled for their second vaccination at one of Kaiser Permanente’s seven other COVID-19 vaccine sites on Oahu.
Starting Monday, Kaiser will expand the availability of vaccines to the Mapunapuna Medical Office and the new West Oahu Medical Office in Kapolei. The vaccinations against COVID-19 will be available Monday through Friday.

Pop-up vaccination clinics are also planned at various farmers’ markets, schools and shopping malls this weekend.
The Hawaii Department of Health still has about 20,000 Pfizer vaccines available in the state, according to spokesman Brooks Baehr.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently extended the shelf life of J&J vaccines by an additional six weeks.
