A new card reader from QuickBooks aims to help SMBs get faster payments. QuickBooks Card Reader enables SMB owners to expedite in-person sales and receive payments on the go. In addition, your transactions can be reconciled without interfering with QuickBooks. “With the addition of the QuickBooks Card Reader to our portfolio of monetary offerings, we continue to make it easier for small businesses to receive payments,” said Rania Succar, senior vice president of Intuit QuickBooks Money Offerings, in a press release.

Square Eyes Open Developer Platform for Crypto Products For

Square is said to be working on a new DeFi system. CEO Jack Dorsey said on social media Thursday (July 15) that the company wants to make it easier to “create non-regulatory, license-free and decentralized financial services.” While he said in the tweet that Square’s company still doesn’t have a name, the main focus would be on Bitcoin. Tidal, Square Seller Products and Cash App are the three businesses that Square operates.

Chase and Tock team up to help restore restaurants

Chase and Tock are working together to help Chase restaurant and hospitality customers recover from the pandemic. From now until the end of the calendar year, small business owners who run pop-up shops, events, wineries, and restaurants will receive up to $ 1,200 in subscription fees when they sign up for Tock for a year and link their Chase Business checking account. Launched in 2014, Tock is designed to help with digital reservations, takeaway orders, table management and events.
