BHOPAL: The state government has issued guidelines for a staggered activation in the state based on the weekly average corona positive rate, which should be less than 5.0 percent. Staggered unlock starts June 1st in Madhya Pradesh. Guidelines have been issued for all collectors. The government has decided to continue the Sunday Janata curfew and the night curfew from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on all weekdays. All gatherings, be it social, political, sporting, cultural, entertainment, mela, etc. will be locked down. Schools, colleges, coaching classes (except online classes) will remain closed until further notice. Interstate and domestic transportation of goods will be allowed and thermal control will continue even in border areas. All government agencies will work 100 percent with civil servants and 50 percent with staff.

Banned & Banned: Cinema hall, shopping malls, swimming pool, theaters, picnic areas, auditorium.

Activities that remain completely prohibited regardless of a positive rate (be it below 5% or above 5%) include:

* All gatherings, be it social, political, sporting, cultural, entertainment, mela, etc.

* School, colleges, coaching classes (excluding online classes).

* Cinema hall, shopping malls, swimming pool, theaters, picnic areas, auditorium.

* No more than four people are allowed at a time in religious places.

* 10 people will be admitted for the funeral.

* 20 people from the bride and groom are allowed for the marriage ceremony.

* Janata curfew applies from Sunday to Monday morning.

* The night curfew will continue from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

* No more than 6 people are allowed to gather at any location.

* Except for the offices involved in the delivery of basic services, all offices will work 100 percent with officials and 50 percent with staff. †Offices that provide essential services are collectors, police, civil protection, fire, public health and medical education, prison, tax authorities, public corporations, water and electricity, public transport, treasury and registry office.

Restrictions lifted: Individual shops in colonies may be operated

The following activities are free from any restrictions regardless of the Corona positive rate (be it above 5% or below):

* All industrial activities. Employees are admitted with a valid ID card.

* Transportation of raw materials.

* Hospitals and nursing homes, health insurance companies, veterinary clinics.

* Petrol and diesel pumps, LPG supply.

* FPS (PDS) Shops, pharmacies, grocery stores, greengrocers, flour mills, milk stands

* Agricultural activities such as opening mandis, seed and fertilizer stores.

* Banks, ATMs, insurance offices.

* Print and electronic media, cable operation.

* Cash management agencies and transportation, MPIs, bank-affiliated credit unions, insurance companies, NBFCs.

* Goods transport.

* Public transport, private buses with Covid protocol.

* Only two passengers in auto rickshaws and e-rickshaws, taxi (two passengers and driver).

* Individual shops in colonies.

* †Cold store, warehousing.

* †Ecommerce and home delivery.

* Labor market with COVID protocol.

* Thok Vegetable Market at the specified location.

* Oxygen tanker, ambulance.

* Movement of personnel involved in vaccination and hospitals and nursing homes.

* Movement of plumbers, electricians, carpenters, car mechanics.

* Procurement.

* Movement of domestic help, drivers, washermen, maids, cooks.

* Fire service, telecommunications, power supply, LPG, gasoline and diesel supply, kerosene tank truck, home delivery, milk collection, vegetable transport.

* Movement of personnel working for airport and airline services.

Guidelines for phased unlocks in urban areas when the weekly positive rate is below 5%:

* Opening of 50% FPS(PDS) stores, drugstores, grocery stores, greengrocers, flour mills, milk stands with normal timing.

* Private commercial facility with 100 percent staff.

* Construction work with COVID protocol.

* Restaurants at 50 percent of total capacity.

* Hotels with 50 percent of total seating capacity.

Policy for urban area activities when positive rate is above 5 percent

* Opening of 25 percent FPS (PDS) stores, drugstores, grocery stores, greengrocers, grain mills, milk stands until 18:00. There will be a ban on early opening.

* Opening of a private trading company with 50 percent staff.

* A residence permit must be in place for workers on construction sites.

*Restaurants are open for takeout and home delivery only.

* Hotels will be opened for guests only.
