Walmart Bubble Glass Cups I Editor’s Review
TikTok has convinced me that I need some new and exciting homewares for 2022, especially stylish glassware. I keep coming across mood-boosting, retro-inspired designs that look like works of art on the accounts of my favorite influencers – and I long to give my kitchen cabinets a youthful boost. So you can probably guess my excitement when I came across funny bubble shaped mugs on none other than walmart.com. I fell in love with the whimsical shape at first sight and knew I needed it in my life. I put two in my shopping cart and counted down the days until they arrived. Check out my full review to see if they were worth the hype ahead of time.
What I like about these mugs
As soon as I pulled these mugs out of the packaging I knew it was a good decision to add them to my virtual shopping cart. Maybe I’m being weird, but I smiled as soon as I looked at them – they are Yes, really Fun and anything but ordinary thanks to its elegant bubble ripple design. My first thought? “I want more.”
What is worth mentioning
An important fact worth mentioning is that these jars are quite small. (I was too concerned with how cute they looked to check the size before buying.) They fit just under 300ml of liquid, which is a little under an entire can of soda (355ml).
Another thing: these mugs are sold and shipped by a third party, which in my experience took longer than usual to get to my doorstep. It wasn’t necessarily a big deal, but it’s something to keep in mind if you need it in a pinch.
And finally, the seller notes that these mugs are made of borosilicate glass, which is resistant to temperature changes. In other words, it is extra durable than traditional glass and can be used for both cold and hot drinks.
Who are these mugs best for?
These mugs are best suited for those looking to upgrade their glassware range with some chic additions. I’ve come across similar looking ones for twice the price from luxury retailers, but the thing is, nobody’s going to tell the difference – I sure don’t know.
more details
- These glass tumblers also come in a vintage-inspired shade of orange ($10, originally $20) if you wanted to jump on the colored glassware trend.
- If you love them like me, the brand also makes mini glass pitchers that are just as sophisticated.
