NASHVILLE, TN. -Taylor Skye thought she was running to quickly Finish in front of Galleria Boulevard in Franklin.

“I love goal !! But I’ll never go back to Target now, ”said Taylor Skye of Columbia.

That was until she says the card reader at the checkout was messed up.

“They said oh your card didn’t work so cross it out again !! And I said okay! So I stole it again, ”Skye said.

But still nothing.

“As soon as they started doing it to me, they called the manager and as soon as they called her to us – she started ping pong back and forth – all the coffers started to drop. And they said the same thing to everyone, ”Skye said.

She was concerned at first but says that Target’s staff assured her it would be fine.

“They said it was just pending, it was going to fall off. Do not worry! You will get your money back. It’s not really going to take it out, ”Skye said.

But it wiped, not once or twice or even three times, but four times!

Skye says when she contacted Target to tell them about it, they told her to contact her bank.

“I shouldn’t have to do any of this if it’s your fault. It was you who kept telling me to swipe my card. It was you who told me it wasn’t going to come out – and they say NOT A BIG DEAL … it’s okay … but it’s a big deal !! THAT’S A LOT OF MONEY, ”said Skye.

News 4 contacted Target. They told us that all guests with incorrect charges for their credit card transactions should call the store 1 (800) 440-0680 speak to a Target team member who can help you recover incorrect charges.

Skye hopes they’ll solve their problem. She loves Target but now says she thinks twice about ever going back.

“I shouldn’t have to go through all of these hurdles and have proof of payment and go through a fraudulent case when I don’t,” Skye said.
